Empaths
Animals can sense another's energy.
Some use their sense of smell, some just feel it instinctively.
At one time we too possessed this ability,
but when we evolved our high intellect, we lost it inevitably.
It's a trade off with evolution continually.
When we evolve a new ability, we lose another unfortunately.
They who claim to be empaths possess no psychic abilities.
It's just left over evolutionary baggage is what I believe.
