Empathize Pains and Reflect Joys
(14/03/2013)
My first was only five lines in a pathetic grammar
Scribbled on my mathematic scrap paper
Teacher was explaining about cosinus,
My brain was given a gentle pat by a muse
That muse had a great heart
She taught me to write about love I hadn’t fallen in
She encouraged me to spill some pain when my heart was smiling
From that on we’re never apart
I’ve lived so many lives in my poems
I’ve drowned myself in the deepest ocean to haul the blackest rhyme
I’ve levitated myself to haul sweet words on a colorful cloud
I’ve written fiction lives nothing sweeter than lime
I’ve stacked stories in my mind where words shout out loud
So when you ask me how poetry has become me?
When I know I can empathize pains and reflect joys, that’s how
