Emotional Manipulator

Waterfall splashes
falling through eyelashes,
Crocodile, maybe real
not sure how to feel,
Neurotic or an actress
I'm mildly in distress,
Witnessing this sight
I could almost take the bite
from emotional fishhooks
I avoid and trust my gut,
Her streaming salty tears
won't make me swerve my steer,
Sticking firm to my beliefs
I ignore this principle thief.

Talofa Rob, this surely put a smile on my face this morning, its like a kid in mischief being caught. A very clever portrayal of emotional imagery. Tiaua.

Thanks, that's a good observation actually, kids are master manipulators! I wasn't consciously thinking of kids but I get that from mine everyday so it must have influenced me. Rob
