Emotion is a poem waiting to be born Liquid words shaped like a tear Poems of heroes on their white stallion steeds Were born from the emotion of fear Death come to all but the living remain So comes the emotion of grief A poem of farewell written with your tears Can often bring the living relief A poem of love can say what you can't For the letters are never too shy A lonely emotion can last for a while When someone you love says goodbye A poem of sadness is written with pain Depression the emotion from hell A poem of forgiveness is written with a smile For it says that all is now well Emotion is a poem waiting to be born Laying dormant until it is needed It can be born through any emotion But it's usually when we're feeling defeated
