Emmanuel Balele

I wish we could go back to those days when we played as kids
When you used to be my boyfriend and my hero
When you meant a lot to me and i meant a lot to you
When we were close friends who could not rest without seeing each other daily
When you came playing to our house and i came looking for you in your sitting room
Well time has passed now and memories are all we have been left with
We both have new friends but do we really have to forget what we shared
We see each other i lectures we look at each other and there's nothing but memories
The same silent boy i used to know
I wonder as i used to wonder when we were kids what makes you silent all the time
Memories are all i'm let with
Emmanuel

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
