Emmanouil (2007)

Sweet, lazy life
Has taken me in
Your arms
For many nights
Of terrors
Mopped up my infections
Until my mind ran clear
Sweet, lazy life
No rent for me to pay
No lawyers at my door
Just announcements
Of love in bedtime stories
The life I've always needed
Empty with space
for reflection
A room filled
with crystal light
Rooms to dream
my nights away
Sweet lazy life
Soft and undisturbed
Wrapped up
in the strength
Of a man
to take shelter under
Sweet, lazy love
Never tires or wanes
Emmanouil, my light, my warmth
Wrapped always around an open door

Tender and utterly delightful! Sweet phrasing and soft imagery. Beautiful! Best wishes, Keith
