Embracing Goodbyes

In the shadows, I feel the bonds grow, Attachments so deep, emotions bow Their absence sparks a flame Love and friendship that lasts the same As they depart their echoes remain A harmony of separation pushes the heart in strain The friendships true a love that is so dear In my heart’s chambers, crystal clear The fear of parting, a clouded sight, I trust that God will provide the light Through the trails unkind I seek strength within my mind In every farewell, a chance to restart, Hope blooms within my delicate heart.
