Embracing Fate

I see in you the zeal for resistance
But still you indulge in persistence
Thinking, searching for relevance
While your soul yearns for deliverance
Distance demands, separates and sends you away
Your heart, desires- unfurls telling you to stay, offering you a shield to
protect-preserve your needs, wants and dreams
And as you proceed you feel pieces of you left with me
Reluctantly you embrace your fate, fighting within as your heart demands its place,
wanting you to stay
Uncertain fear penetrates establishing in you its lair
While despair appears unlocked uniting with fear
Gradually as time ticks you overcome, fighting in fear
In the end you emerge in tears filled with a lot of memories to share and stories to tell.
