Embrace the Lines
Embrace the lines of your life.
If you are a loving wife.
Never let your thoughts stray.
To a love from bygone days.
When at work know your place.
Never speak out just in case.
Your boss may feel undermined.
Then perhaps treat you unkind.
If a mother, devote your time
to making sure your kids are fine.
Put your own needs last not first.
As you did before the birth.
Embrace the lines of your life.
Settle in, no need for strife.
If you can adjust to your place,
peaceful contentment you will taste.
