Embrace and Release

You are invisible
I never see you in my dreams.
You are invisible
And yet I feel you all around, it seems
The waiting is forever
And yet I want you,
Oh how I want you
 In my sleeping mind
How can love be so unkind
To show me
Who you were
And now,
You are invisible.

Love is like an elusive butterfly, very hard to capture. Nice written, Janine.

oh yes janine i know What it is liek to miss a lover! My old boyfriend was a veteran in the world war 2, but he unfortunatey was killed when the war was over. I miss him so very much. I still have his old uniform today...... if only it didn't have this weird buddhist symbol on it that i don't know what it means. Thanks for sharing -Hasel!

Hello Phillis, thank you for your comments. I could relate to your story of your pain, what is the weird buddhist symbol on the uniform? have you tried to find out? He may have been a gurkha which was a very special regiment. love and peace janine
