Eluding Love
I FELL for a princess, how ? I can’t TELL
I ABANDON school for our love has just BEGUN
To SEE the king , I’m afraid ,I’m not FREE
But NOT prepared to retreat for what I SOUGHT
A DAME with intelligence that can boost my FAME
She LOOKS like a blessed martyr in the BOOKS
Her PAIN is my pain, her strength doesn’t WANE
This PLIGHT of mine must be brought to LIGHT
I LOVE this gem for it’s ordained from ABOVE.
