Ellen's Way
Plans to be made, I'll need a pen,
Many old things I'll do again.
The plan will be bounced off things I know
To see if its sound, to see if I'll grow.
The world will turn and bells will ring.
Writers will write and singers will sing.
Choices to be made amidst this noise,
Choices and hopes for many new joys
Bonding by word and simple handshake,
I'll find a way and pray for a break
I’ll judge against what is said to be good
I’ll do what I must and do what I should
Then once settled in I will look around
Knowing all that I need is here to be found
