Elements

Elements

Earth and soil speak
and a touch of frost glistens.
The countryside awakens
as wind caresses the land.
A grove of trees breathes,
a sense of wonder.
The early sun calls.

    I am fire.

I’ve become friends
with people in town.
We talk about clouds and clear skies
about our lives. We bear time.
A lady at the grocery store deli
shows a photo of her young daughter.
A wandering stream bubbles over rocks.

For me, this is thought provoking. I initially thought it was about astrology, but there is no mention of air or water unless 'wind' represents air and 'stream' water. Feeling I'm completely off, I read it a few more times. Conclusion: Verse 1, nature elements radiating life, Verse 2, a human radiating life just as fire and earth both exists as life elements. Am I right? I really do have TBI (traumatic brain injury) ^ oft wonder what I miss in poems, thus these ??. Hope I'm not a nuisance.
