Electricity

Created at the beginning of time
Discovered by the human mind
Don't touch for it can give you and awful shake
Even cause you hair to stand up strait
In wire it can run it can spark
And with a flick of switch light up the dark
Invisible to the naked eye
Yet in a thunder storm lights up the night sky
Tiny bits of it can talk across space
Or take a picture of your face
So whether you turn on the coffee pot or the TV
Remember it's electricity
