Eight Year Old Charlie

Why is that man begging for some money ?
He has holes in his clothes and looks so funny
This was said by Charlie aged only eight
Mummy's reply to her son would have to wait

Why hasn't that man got no shoes on his feet ?
He looks like he's sleeping now on that seat
Charlie only eight didn't know the reason why
His mummy gave her reply Charlie began to cry

Why does that man ask us for some food ?
He did say please so he's certainly not rude
So many questions in eight year old Charlie grew
The mummy of Charlie now started to cry too

Charlie aged eight has so many happy times ahead
Enjoy each and every one is what his mummy said
Be grateful and thankful for who you are
Charlie my son you're my shining star
