Ego

I could never look myself in the eye, I can’t lean on my shoulder and cry. I can’t punch myself in the face, Even though this would be the case. I can not tell myself a lie, Even if very hard I would try. I can’t plead innocent if I feel guilt, Or my soul would turn into a quilt. I can stay, when I’m meant to go, But is this me, or just my EGO?
