Eden Gone

The pressures of the day had taken its toll on me. I lay down to relax, closed my eyes, leaving the day behind. Somehow, I walked into another time, another place. I walked into a garden, a place I had never seen before. It was as though I had been mysteriously pulled, through life's secret door. I gazed at many wonders, things from out of the past. I tried so hard to grab onto the pictures, fleeting visions, passing ever so fast. I caught the glimpse of a valley, buffalo and horses in play. Antelope and deer huddled in bands, watching, from where they lay. I noticed elephants so big and so proud. I heard the roar of the lions, bold and loud. I caught traces of the whale, frolicking in the massive sea. I watched monkeys playing in harmony. swinging from their special tree. Out of nowhere came a giant dinosaur, so graceful and tall. Coyotes let out their howl, porpoises played, singing with musical call. I caught sight of a multitude of people, gathered in peace, and in love. Black, white, red and yellow, along with some angles from up above. All were singing hymns telling of the past, in a song, of a place where we once lived, a place called "Eden" "EDEN GONE"
