Eden

My heart mourned as you wilted away

your blooming is over so your petals fade

I watch as your precious petals flow

everywhere the untamed wind blows

Each petal touches someone new

and everyone is all the better

from knowing the love inside of you

that in the wind you now scatter

We are all part of many gardens

in some we flourish

while wilting in others

but we all strive for the ultimate....
