Eclipsed Our Love

Withered, the months, weeks, in days and such
Echoes are memories
And covered are such

Stained in shadows, as they wouldn't know
They will never, never know you like I use to...

Years we've lived, time that's gone, and all so soon
Saddened are memories, the nothing, filling these rooms
The quiet, silence surrounds, it's emptiness and gloom
Lost were cares, left in tears, they'll soon résumé

Those perfect moments, where did it all go wrong?
As for the precious pieces, where have they all gone?
Everything that mattered, lying here, in dust
In emptiness that's hallowed, the nothingness, becoming us

No Care to me, not even a word before
Awakening empty, you're not, no more

 why... would you hide away?
why.. eclipsing our lives, this way?

As these shadows, becoming, a lonely world
Would questions, gain answers, or never be told?

In the year, as today, I've grown cold
tears would fall, remembrance of all
And the true color of your soul

Abandoned bond, you've beckoned away
Lost a tear, and so in here, as each day

In the time, a blink of an eye, the past went by
In all, you do, the lies of you, my tears subside

So many sorrows, never the same again
And lost tomorrows, Is yesterday, a friend?

The bridges, we've built
Are bridges, you've burned
All that mattered, Not a lesson was learned

The withered, the months, the weeks, and such
Echoed in memories, now covered, it's dust...
