Eclipse of the Heart

Forlorn unto the planets in an open sky, Painted so in darkness, to gift the reasons why? As drawn by hands of Gods then this eternity, I question then no more, for all a part of me. To stand in understanding, yet not understand, That man to think he rules, yet but a grain of sand, That world to him then all, that he may so survive, But life within him lost, for his heart then not alive, I breathe upon the curtain as the stars do shine, And ache me in my heart to reach the lights of time, A message sent from distant suns then unto me, That life, and love and heart, in them for all to see.
