Echoes of Silence
In the shadows of silence, I wither without a sound,
Cruel words pierce through; kindness is no longer found.
It began with kindness, it ended with mockery,
Each cut, each wound, from a vicious kiss of treachery.
Contempt and disdain weave my crown of ice,
Laughter sharp as blades, tearing through me thrice.
Loneliness sweeps in like a silent tide,
Left by those once dear; tears, my only guide.
Desecrated what's sacred, my soul in chains,
Humiliated and tortured; my skin bore the pain.
Each hickey a betrayal, each bruise a stain,
Leaving me bruised, broken, and fraught with pain.
Shrouded by shadows, I seek release,
From torment and suffering, yearn for peace.
Tears swirl in my eyes, sorrow fills my core,
I chose for an end, drowning myself in gore.
May my story be heard, be sung, be told,
No one should endure such pain, let silence unfold.
In miserable silence, let light reappear,
Dispel the shadows, end the endless drear.
