Echoes of Errors --Itty Bitty

Our heroes past ate on the platter of pain,
in their gravesite we pick grapes of gain.
These living dead have nothing to offer,
they plough and plant...for posterity to suffer.
We are a generation aborted after birth;
alive yet dead in the domain of dearth...
These political parrots speak of change;
but the echoes of their errors sound strange!

I really love these wonderful lines:"We are a generation aborted after birth; alive yet dead in the domain of dearth..." Congratulations on your win in Andrea's contest Adeleke!

Adeleke, I almost didn't place this one because in a few places, you had gone over the syllable count I asked per line; however, I kept rereading it and realized you had a very important message within these lines and I hope others will read it. Congratulations. You are a talented guy!
