Echoes In the Wind
Echoes in the wind-
memories of a friend.
Forever lost to thee
things that used to be.
Echoes in the wind-
returning once again.
Whispers of the past
dreams that didn’t last.
Echoes in the wind-
shadows that now descend.
Deep purple as the night
void of all delight.
Echoes in the wind-
now fade toward the end.
As memories once held
With oblivion meld.
