Echoes
Echoes
Deep in the valley,
All around,
The air is filled
With a muffled sound,
Songs from birds
And the rustle of leaves,
All dancing lazily
On the breeze,
Whispered back,
As you shout hello,
Hollow sounds
Of the strange echo.
Sleepy voices
Fill the air,
Conversations
With no one there,
Whistling winds
Blow through the trees
With playful tunes
And melodies
Deep in the valley,
Down below,
Haunting sounds
Of the strange echo.
