Echoes ringing through my head
Rewound thoughts
Replay over
Missing not a word
Details sought
Read between the lines
Echoes become louder
Thoughts that follow
Casting their shadows
Nowhere to run or hide
Distant cries
Ghostly whisper
Echoes continueously remain
Remnants of the past
Linger deep within
Reminders of past pains
Stop the torture
Stop the pain
Recend into the grave
Forgiven not forgotten
Memories do change
The echoes go away
