Echo Came Back

with smiles dabbing colors of sunrise we chiseled a sculpture in our hearts addictive pleasure of our teasing flirts we thought we would never drift apart. a crystal wine cup,.. clutched too hard, bleeding cuts,..in pieces...broken glass. a silent whisper, "please come back". an echo came back,..too faint.. alas!
