Ebullient Emotion
My timid time will be made of many happy hours
if you give me a glinting prism of diffracting glass,
I’ll split the sun’s spectrum in the VIBGYOR colors,
over your dulcet face dawn’s flowing hues will pass.
If you show me in a magical mirror your enticing face,
in the mesmeric motif of my kaleidoscope I’ll see you,
your sweet smile will configure your innate grace,
encased forever in my heart, it’ll always appear new.
Give me a lens of longing that will lovingly magnify
the window of your heart, butterflies can make entry,
where on wings with fresco of my fervor they will fly,
design the perception of your perennial portrait for me.
If you’re in the shadow of my silence, music you’ll hear
the violin of my heart plays when you’re with me close,
songbirds will fly with my love in your sky crystal clear,
for you the tunes of ebullient emotion they’ll compose.
