Easter Bunny

A small piece of paper with a written clue
Mom used to say: "The Easter Bunny left it there for you"
Sometimes I wondered if it was really true?

Out in the garden, how many eggs will I find?
Searching high and low, leaving none behind
On the grass, between the flower bed
Chocolate coated eggs lay scattered, yellow, pink and red

Behind the apple tree, to my surprise!
Out hops the Bunny, with his ruby red eyes!
Pink floppy ears and a furry disguise!
This is the truth, it ain't no lies!
I saw it all with my own two eyes!
Dragging his basket with his short fat legs
He got such a fright and ran away without his easter eggs!

Now I no longer wonder if it's true...
The small piece of paper with the written clue
I know for sure the Easter Bunny puts it there for me and you!
