Easter

My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death
As countless millions hurtle towards eternal wrath
What, could you not watch with me one hour
For the Spirit is willing but the flesh lacks power

Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation
Lest when He comes you enter into damnation
See the signs his coming does hasten
In the manner he ascended he is coming in like fashion

The Lord said, Friend wherefore art thou come
To his disciple who enemy had become
Friend why don't you come
He asks of us caught in sin so loathsome

Come, I have already paid for you the ransom
Avoid eternal damnation so fearsome
The kingdom of darkness oh so gruesome
Spend eternity with me, a time of joy awesome
