Easter 2023

Easter 2023 Birth, Death, Resurrection, & Today Written: By Tom Wright 4-14-2006 Birth Because God in his wisdom did foreknow, That man would never be able. He sent His son Jesus to dwell on earth, Being born of the Virgin Mary in a stable. Death God then so willed that this same Jesus, Would give His life’s blood on Calvary’s tree. Though He knew no sin, he took the sin of man, And suffered the cross for you and me. Resurrection From the Cross, he was carried to a borrowed tomb, Where He was laid out in grave clothes. But the tomb’s rolled stone couldn’t hold him, And three days hence, My Savior Arose! Today So today we can hide our colored eggs, And have Chocolate bunnies without breath. But remember, it was Jesus’ resurrection, That gave us hope beyond physical death.
