Easter 2006

Easter 2006 Birth, Death, Resurrection, & Today Written: By Tom Wright 4-14-2006 Because God in his wisdom did foreknow That man would never be able He sent His son Jesus to dwell on earth Being born of the Virgin Mary in a stable God then so willed that this same Jesus Would give His life’s blood on Calvary’s tree Though He knew no sin, he took the sin of man And suffered the cross for you and me From the Cross, he was carried to a borrowed tomb Where He was laid out in grave clothes But the tomb’s rolled stone couldn’t hold him And three days hence, My Savior Arose! So today you can hide your colored eggs And have Chocolate bunnies without breath But remember, it was Jesus’ resurrection That gave you hope beyond physical death
