East Hollywood Bus Stop, 1977

A bus stop and a savage brute
all sewed up in a lion suit.
"Did you ever find where the Oz Wizard was?
(The lion-man belched a cloud of fuzz)
and those three ne'er-do-wells and that?"
He just said, "why'd ya think I'm fat?"

When I was 18, I didn't have a car and depended on what was then called the RTD (Los Angeles's "Rapid" Transit District), so I met a lot of unusual people at bus stops. The particulars of this one might be a little off...and my memory might be a little off...and well, I'll stop there.
