Earth's Weeping Wounds

Once a vibrant tapestry, a verdant dream, Now scars of silence, where forests used to gleam. The symphony of life, its vibrant song, Replaced by silence, where something went wrong. Majestic giants, fallen and bare, Whispering ghosts, haunt the barren air. Rivers choked with waste, a poisoned flow, Life's precious essence nowhere left to go. The air we breathe, a tainted embrace, A choking grip, on humanity's face. The fertile soil, a barren display, Where life once danced, now cracks hold sway. But amidst the ruin, a flicker of light, A rising tide, pushing back the night. Hands that mend, and voices that speak, Planting seeds of hope, for the future we seek. Renewable whispers, a new sun's call, Guiding the path, for one and all. Sustainable whispers, a promise untold, To heal Earth's wounds, and make her whole. The Earth, she weeps, for the choices we made, But hope remains if hearts are unafraid. Let's rise together, voices combined, To leave a world for the future to find. For the sake of the trees, the oceans, the sky, Let's rewrite the story before it's goodbye. This is our planet, our sacred trust, To nurture and cherish, from ashes and dust.
