Earthquake 2011

It's 12.51pm and I am sitting chatting to same friends
The next minute the room starts swaying back and forward
Chairs start falling, tables fall, and people screaming
The whole room swaying like we were on a scary rollercoaster

An unsafe rollercoaster
Walking outside was like we had gone to war
And no one had told us
It was like we had bombs dropped on us

Smoke from buildings fallen and from fires
Houses downs
Roads torn up
People dead
People buried alive

People missing

Someone was watching over me that day
