Earthly Angel

Earthly Angel

In my life,
I have dated many women.
But only loved just a few.
Most of which are of my past,
With the prime exception of you.

In my life,
I have experienced much,
Had to learn from mistakes.
I’ve had to sort through the many,
To discard of the fakes.

In my life,
I choose wisely,
For my searching days are through.
A gift I was given,
When I first laid eyes on you.

In my life,
I’ve known happiness,
Contentment and true love.
I’ve convinced that Angels live,
On earth, not just above.
