Earth, Too, Has Lovers
Through each of its high climber's
And its low diver's
Adored looks, fixed in wonderment
Earth, too, has lovers.
Whilst in return, for stroked claw*
Wrapped tendril, stings more*
Fighting off whose own advances!
The sensual deplore!

* Jellyfish's
