Earth a Hard School
Love dripping
Gently seeping
Into each pore
Keeping no score
Slow percolation
Arousing compassion
In our heart
Now all one, none apart
Was it this way
In earlier days
Perhaps not
Yet if we forgot
Once upon a time
When misaligned
We were head centric
Irritable & eccentric
Now to heart, the shift
No longer adrift
Earth life discord
No bridge to ford
Joyful spree
In each entrée
This world a dream
As desires stream
Destiny soul agreement
Yet here discontentment
The enigma
Because of our amnesia
So, breathe easy
In tranquil calm lazy
