Ear Plugs Anyone?

All I can hear are voices-voices-voices trampling over one another no concern for unfinished thoughts; repeated high-pitched points never driven home; laughter like sharks biting at my brain; sounds of a drunk circus juggling volume; a ferris wheel of chatter spinning out of control. Talk, talk, talk, talk, talk Like a wood pecker chipping away at my patience; I sit in the next room wondering how I’m alone yet still cannot hear myself think; wondering if through all that stampede of gossip anyone is actually communicating wondering if anyone is listening, Anyone, except the walls and me …

Sitting in the university library, trying to study... This is EXACTLY how I felt whenever I was there!

Read another one today about gossip...Gossip is the great destroyer...Keep the creative pen flowing..Thanks for reading my poem "Google Laminin" and commenting on it with what you think...I felt just drawn in the spirit by the man Louie...I felt as though God was speaking to me..I hope that you got a good feeling from listening and looking up the scripture..The word in that verse 17 means kept...if you read it keep that in mind..Keep the creative pen flowing. I like this a lot. So frantic feeling. I could almost picture someone sitting in a room with their hands over their ears trying to drown out a million tiny distorted voices. Awesome write!
