Eagle In the Sky
Far against the blue backdrop,
a speck of flight extreme;
flies the eagle in the atmosphere.
Creation at supreme.
Her hunter's eye glints in the sun
and marks her choice of prey.
A lightning flash of movement,
gone small life - Nature's way.
But through it's sacrifice comes life
as young beaks tear and grasp.
The nourishment thier mother brings
renews for them Life's clasp.
When next you see this magnificent bird,
remember that their is no word.....
We may call her an Eagle in the Sky
but within her both Death and Life do fly.
