wings glide beak rend talons tear
colossus i fly —

I've never noticed a haiku in 1st person before, I like your set up to the words, 'I fly.' I know you captured the majesty and power of the eagle, but I'm one to also feel the cruelty. To me, you captured the colors of the beauty and aloof cruelty in the wild. (I wish it were only in the wild. I'm rambling at this point.)
