Eagle
This inner eagle glides within my soul
Guides me in my many adventures
Protects me when I’m in danger
Calms me when I'm in anger
This inner eagle glides within my soul
This inner eagle is only hear for me
My eyes in the mist in which cannot see
My perpetual companion through land, sky’s, and sea
This inner eagle glides within my soul
This inner eagle make me complete
does away with fears, tears, hate, and negativity within me
Gives me strength in this fragile state
Heals my mind and allows me to create
This inner eagle glides within my soul
This inner eagles has never left my side
Road trips to hell and fights to bliss always willing to ride
Times of confusion and no one to turn to
This eagle was my conscious telling me to look within in you
This inner eagle glides within my soul
This inner eagle is elder like myself
Gained wisdom, knowledge, and appreciation of life and health
My children we watched as they grew
Now it is time I pass my eagles onto you
(wrote this poem in reflextion of my grandparents who have a serious fascination with
eagles. every room in their house contains an eagle better yet and i never understood why
and probably never will exactly. however, this is my understanding from their perspective)
