Each Time

Each time you hurt me,
I still come back for me,
It's like i need the pain,
So I can feel you know i exist.

Each time we get close,
You push me away with your actions,
It's always one girl or another,
Why can't I just be enough for you.

Each time you look at me,
I want to believe what you say,
I could melt in your eyes,
If only you felt the same.

Each time we touch,
I get shivers down my spine,
I know it's the calm before the storm,
Before this heart bursts in two.

Each time we keep each others company,
Sparks start to fly,
Then you leave and go back to her,
Leaving me to think I imagined it all.

Each time you hurt me,
I still come back for me,
It's like i need the pain,
So I can feel you know i exist.

Every poem is a whore that needs more than one reader, but the poet is a real person, and infidelity does not deserve devotion ... the heart is the the thing, the heart! Welcome to poetry soup, and pray this holiday that love will bring you joy
