Each Step

No matter how much she tries
To hide from the outside
An individual always make their way in
“Wow, you’re so strong”
That’s what so many say
But what they don’t see
Is when she’s locked up
And crying
Because of the faults
And flaws which live within her

No matter how much she tries to run from the truth
It always catches up with her
So now she must walk
Bearing the pain of the truth
With each step that she takes
