Each Passing Cloud
Each passing cloud speaks out loud
of the things that come and go;
Like a parting kiss, all the steps we miss,
once again may never show.
For, I once had mine, like a finest wine,
she was a heart worth fighting for;
But I feared of being wounded, so this heart absconded,
and missed the chance to have her in store.
So, while we have the chance, we must take it at once,
for, like passing clouds, chances may never last;
Or one day we may regret, as we try to forget,
the memories of our broken past.
