Dyslexia

The words are turned around
the writing is backwards
the book is upside down
The teachers are frustrated
Some don't know what to do
Suggesting I go to a private school.
The Private school can not handle
A child so far behind
I am three grades behind 
I feel so alone, the schools don't want me
because I am so far behind
I see things in other ways 
Kids say I am dumb 
Kids tease me all the time 
they even knock me to the ground
They say I am different
Maybe I am
But what do they know? 
For I am Dyslexic

May 23, 2017 at 7:27 PM look up the Scottish Rite organization to see if they are in your city or town. They offer FREE phenomenal weekly tutoring using the gold standard method of teaching and aiding dyslexic readers (Orton Gillingham method). I have a dyslexic son and I also used to tutor with them. Free if you have a formal diagnoses of dyslexia. (register with your school to get that testing done) You may have to get on their waiting list but is well worth it. Will give you great skills and self confidence galore!
