Dying Eyes

Dying eyes

I don’t like the darkness in my eyes
Question for more to you surprise
I try to think of infinite clear blue skies
I know of more than this but the simple ties
The mountains jagged and the ground beneath lies
Platitudes perhaps but think mindfully and rise
An eagle soars but to eat he must energize
A life to grow and then only multiplies
A world full of beauty then we glimpse human dies
