Dying
Dying
It was alive for so long
Dwindling in the sunlight
Closed off from civilization
Only to free itself
From kings and vices
I dreaded the day
That your petals would fall
Gracing the ground
Ever so sweetly
The water gone
The earth dry
Your soul crumbled
