Dying

My words are becoming dirt
They die within me
My head no longer hurts
But I see nothing
My heart died so long ago
It contradicts my healing
My pain is forgotten now
I’m no longer feeling

My breath is the taunting dust
It will gather around me
It speaks of my forgotten lust
And now I am denial
I live and wait for death
The goal will call me
One more day of being your sin
And my mind will spill free

Bring me my forgotten pain
My mind is dead without it
Bleed me and share your hate
I am just dead without this
I need the escaping light
My soul is chained to this now
It fades and evades my sight
I lay back and die now
