Dwell On What Goes Well
Don't want to dwell
On what doesn't go well
Sometimes you see yourself move one step forward
And soon, you find yourself take two steps backward
Life moves that way when you dwell
On what in your life doesn't go well.
Clouds have gathered in the sky
Ready to show their game of might
Some will decide to stay home today
Others will visit someone alone to bring a ray.
Don't want to dwell on the rain
For any day, someone needs you to come their way.
Don't want to dwell on the heat
When in other parts of the land, folks face fear
Perhaps their crop has been destroyed by flood
Others live in places that are under winter frost
Don't want to dwell on the sun too hot
When there are those who suffer great loss.
Don't want to dwell on the thorns
Of the rose, but the beauty of her crown
It will then receive the proper care
That will only enhance the beauty of her ware
Dwell on the things that make you do well
Dwell on what in your life goes well.
