Dusk Is My Alarm Clock

I sleep all day out of sight In a tree hollow Coiled up in a ball, am I Stay still; don’t wallow When night doth blossom In the dusk I will forage Just call me “possum”

A nice ode to the opossum! I liked the line, 'When night doth blossom'. The nocturnal creatures feed on the rhythms of the dark night. A well-composed verse!
